Great to meet you!
Welcome to my website, where you can get to know me and my mind a little better.
I am a graduate in Ba (Hons) Interior Design from the University of Huddersfield, fascinated with creating experiences within spaces and offering flexibility to suit the needs of an array of people.
I enjoy learning and finding ways to grow and develop, both in my work and in my personal life.
A-FRAME HOUSE
3D Modelling and Rendering December 2022
With wanting to continue my development in design skills, I set out on doing something for fun. Using SketchUp, I created a basic model of an A-Frame house. I then used D5 Render, a software package I had never used before, to create a base render. This was then carried over to photoshop to make the finishing touches. I did this multiple times, taking critiques from both myself and others to see what could be improved on and make the render better. These revisions can be seen below.
PARMILIA
Final Major Project - September 2020 - May 2021
This section shows the work that was created over my final year at The University of Huddersfield and achieved the award for 'The Best Spatial Exploration.'
Over the course of my final year, I developed a creative workplace that incorporated flexible working and the community of Huddersfield. The space was also designed to be set to be within a major area in Huddersfield's '10 Year Plan' of development, which fosters creative culture and community for the town.
SECOND YEAR
Berghaus and Exhibition Stand - September 2019 - February 2020
The below shows some of the works carried out in my second year at university. The Berghaus project was a competition brief for the 2020 Retail Expo Student Awards, in which I was a finalist. The aim was to design a conceptual retail space for Berghaus that incorporated and embodied their newest 'Dean Street' collection.
The Exhibition Stand project was a brief to design a detailed exhibition stand based on one of 'Discover Huddersfield Trails.' Following the route of World War I, I designed a four-part stand. Inspired by the poppy, the stands were designed to create a trail of their own, whist highlighting significant areas during this period.
